Head Pain - Headaches
Tension Headaches are a common cause for pain that is felt around the forehead and back of the head. Pressure can also be felt in these areas. The main cause of a tension headache is stress. Bad posture, fatigue, hunger, and lack of rest can also cause the onset of a tension headache. Symptoms: A person who experiences these headaches may feel irritable, tired, or have trouble sleeping. Tension headaches can be episodic or chronic.
Migraine Headaches are caused when nerves and blood vessels expand in the brain causing inflammation. Symptoms: weakness, noise, vomiting, bright lights, nausea and dizziness… On both sides of the head, most experience throbbing pain.
Participating in regular exercise and eating proper meals may reduce the chances of triggering headaches.
